Oregon
Oregon was beautiful but the weather could have been better. We drove the coast down to Eugene. Breathtaking views but a little chilly.

Arrived in Eugene and despite the rain, had a great mini family reunion with my sister, Linda, cousins Bobbi and Ralph and brother Billy and wife Janet. It was so good to visit with family!

Idaho
Next was Twin Falls, Idaho. The biggest thrill was watching Base jumpers jumping off the Perrine bridge (400 feet high) with parachutes.

We drove to Shonshone Falls. They were the nicest we’ve seen so far on the trip.

Then we went to Craters of the Moon National Monument. It’s made up of three major lava fields which resemble the surface of the moon. No big deal since we’ve been to the Big Island in Hawaii and it was much more fascinating and moon-like. We’re getting spoiled!

We entered Yellowstone through Montana. It was beautiful! We saw lots of wild life, especially several Bison up close and personal! We went horseback riding and to a shooting range. Jeff was the champ at shooting range.

Wyoming
Traveling through Wyoming the weather has been just perfect! We stayed last night at the Saratoga Resort and Spa (a golf resort where we camped free through our RV Golf Club membership). No time to golf but the hot springs were awesome and we had the best healthy dinner ever! We camped on property with deer and jack rabbits around us. It’s kinda strange to be in the middle of nature, then walk into the RV with satellite TV and all the comforts of home. It’s the best of both worlds.
We just passed the Whistle Pig Saloon. Haha. I love the names of places in Wyoming.
We’re on our way to Breckenridge, Colorado right now. It’s only 3 hrs away and it is filled with activities. We hope to zip line!
Happy Trails
