Here we are in July of 2021. Can you believe it?

We’re finally on the road again. We took time off from our adventures to buy and remodel a condo on South Padre Island, Texas. We did travel back and forth from Nevada to Texas to sell our house and move. It was quite a busy beginning of the year, and we’re happy with the results. The condo will be our home base, and also work as a short-term rental when we’re traveling. Check out the listing here.

California

We’re currently in the Sacramento area at the Ponderosa RV Resort (it’s located in the foothills in Coloma). We’ve stayed here many times before. It’s part of the Thousand Trails system and is a well run and clean campground. It’s been great visiting family before we head north to cooler weather.

The trip hasn’t been without its challenges though – in fact, probably more RV issues than we’ve had on any given trip. There have been dead batteries, a faulty inverter switch, and a stuck slide out just to name a few. Ah, the joys of travel.

When we roll out of here, we’ll be venturing into some areas we haven’t been before. Looking forward to some sightseeing and relaxing the rest of the summer.
