It’s mid-April, and time for us to begin our journey again. It’s been a fun stay in Florida, and we’ll be here another week as we make our way up to Tallahassee and through the panhandle.
Here’s a recap of our Florida adventures since the last update.
Citrus Bowl
First stop when we got back from California was a Citrus Bowl party at our cousins (graduate of University of Florida). It was especially nice that the Wolverines won handily.

New Home
The year started off with a bang as we took delivery of our new home – a beautiful American Coach motorhome. It’s a little bigger, and has some great features (including a dishwasher!). We feel very blessed.

We were staying at a park in Kissimmee where our new friends Jeff & Belinda had watched our dogs while we were in Sacramento for Christmas.

From Kissimmee, we headed west toward Tampa for the Tampa RV Show – the largest RV Show in the United States. It was a lot of fun checking out the $5 million dollar motorhomes and all the new gadgets for camping.
Fun entertainment at the RV Show including Bagpipes and Mardi Gras!
Then it was off to the Cape Coral to visit our cousins John & Nikki.

We spent the day with them at a Medieval Festival. Got to see a lot of interesting people, and even watched armored knights in a jousting match. Painful.

We also found a new favorite restaurant – Ford’s Garage. They have an exclusive license with Ford Motor Company to use Ford products, and the entire place is decked out with old cars, hub caps, and more.
