The Mount Soledad Veterans Memorial in San Diego is a wonderful experience. There’s been controversy over the years because of the large white cross that atheists have fought to have removed, and that’s what drew us there. We didn’t realize there was also a beautiful tribute to our veterans. If you’re in the San Diego area, this is one stop you should not miss.
