5-5-15 Arrived Provo! It’s a college town (BYU) and I have to say secretly it was nice to be back into civilization for a couple days. Went to Bridal Falls (nothing to write home about). And visited Sundance and Park City. Lots of quaint shops with overpriced items). I would love to come back and ski!

We had lunch at the Portneuf Valley Brewing, a great little brew-pub that was highly recommended. Food was fantastic.

5-7. Stayed overnight in Ft, Hall, Idaho. We went to the Museum of Clean. I can’t believe we didn’t take any pictures there. Don Aslett Who made his fortune selling cleaning supplies built the museum. Wow it was three stories high and full of antique cleaning machines. Among the items were the first vacuum cleaner, washing machine, irons, bathtubs, you name it. Sounds boring, but I really enjoyed it and thought a lot about my grandma. Don is 83 years old and personally gave us the grand tour. He was a firecracker and so fun.

5-8. Arrived Columbia Falls, Montana. What beauty! We went to Glacier National Park which is a must see! The weather was gorgeous and the hiking will never be any better than that place! We hiked 600 feet straight up to a beautiful lake. Honestly I was so tired and hungry. I wanted a helicopter to pick me up. Well, Jeff convinced me hiking back down would be a breeze. HA! It was steep and I was out-of-control running down the Mountain. Jeff had to take my hand to slow me down as my legs felt like Jell-O. All in all it was a happy experience.

We had a great time in Montana. We tasted huckleberries for the first time and had one of the best burgers ever! Watched an eagle in a tree right in front of our glamping spot.

Check out the photos from Glacier.

We are now on our way to Coeur D’Alene, Idaho for a brief stop then onto Washington State. We love traveling days with a huge windshield which makes me feel like I can see for miles. We are sharing driving which makes Jeff nervous. Haha. The RV GPS keeps saying “speed warning” when I’m driving. I don’t know what she’s talking about, but it makes me giggle seeing Jeff’s face.

Until next week, HAPPY TRAILS TO YOU.
