Wrapping Up 2019
2019 was a mixed year. We started our year in Florida with a family wedding, and took our last RV trip of the year to California for our son’s wedding. In between were adventures that took us across the south, then north through Utah, Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho, before taking us south to Southern California.
We traveled 9,869 miles and made stops in twelve states and forty-eight cities.
We also sat for nearly five months waiting for repairs on our motorhome.
We spent 20 nights dry camping including three overnights at Wal-Marts and five nights at Cracker Barrels. Our Thousand Trails membership wasn’t used as much this year, as we only stayed a total of ten nights in Thousand Trails parks.
Our son’s wedding was by far the biggest highlight of the year for us. As for the sights we saw, Glacier National Park continues to rank as one of our favorites. Bryce Canyon National Park also wowed us this year.
We made many new friends this year, and are very grateful for the ability to travel and see this amazing nation of ours.
We haven’t sent traditional Christmas cards since we started full time RVing four years ago. This year, we thought we’d send a digital Christmas greeting. So, from our home to yours, we wish you a very Merry Christmas, and a happy and prosperous New Year.
